Heaven & Earth...

So today I went shopping and came across the Heaven and Earth MUA Pro palette in Superdrug. I've heard a ton of people raving about this palette and decided to pick one up for myself.

There are six palettes to choose from each containing 12 gorgeous shadows. The Heaven and Earth palette consists of all different shades of brown, ranging from light to dark. There is also 3 highlight colours included in this. The colours are very frosty, some containing more shimmer than others.

I can see me getting a lot of use out of this palette as I love wearing browns and doing brown smoking eye looks instead of black as I feel black is too harsh for me.

For Christmas I did want the Urban Decay Naked Palette however now I have this I feel like I don't need the Naked palette anymore.

I'm really pleased with this product and for £4 per palette you cant go wrong! That works out at roughly 33p per shadow! BARGAIN.

As you can see the colour pigmentation from these palettes are really amazing for its price. The shadows are also very soft.

A must have product for Autumn/Winter.

Pretty in Pink...

Soo...for part of my friends college assignment she needed to do a block of dye in someones hair. I agreed and this is what happened...

I LOVEE IT! Its only semi-permanent however I have washed my hair twice since I had it done & it still hasnt faded yet!

Products used to achieve this look were:
Bleach - To lighten the hair to make the pink brighter
&
Crazy colours in Cyclamen - Which is the pink.

I am definitely going to re-dye this once the colour has completely faded!

(All products can be brought from Sally Salon Services)

Latest In Beauty...

If you're not yet familiar with Latest in Beauty, it is a company specialising in monthly samples to give you a chance to try out some of the millions of new products that hit the market every year. For just £1 a month, which is paid via text message, you can personally select three different samples of your choice from three given categories; the categories being, skin care, make-up & fragrances and hair & body.

Mine only took 3 working days to arrive which in my opinion is really quite good! You are presented with a pink, letter box friendly beauty box which contains your hand picked samples and a letter detailing what you have received.
This is how the box looks :)

Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of the items that I received however I did make a video which is up on my YouTube channel at the moment :).

You're garaunteed to never get the same products more than once...unless of course you order them. You are also under no obligation to order every month...for example if you don't like the look of what they have to offer one month you can wait till the next month to order.

It is definitely something worth signing up for. Its very quick and easy to do. & of course it is personally tailored to suit YOU.

NOTD - Antique Coral

As you may know I LOVE my nail varnish! So I'm always swapping and changing about and I have always got a different favourite.

At the moment my favourite colour is Antique Coral by Natural Collection from Boots (UK).

As you can see from the picture it is definitely a more orange toned coral than it is pink. I have many pink corals in my collection however this is the only orange toned coral that I have. It also has slight blue sparkles in it which can only be seen in the sunlight. This is without a doubt one of my favourite spring/summer colours!

I picked this up a while back from my local Boots for only 1.89. I only have half of the bottle left now but this is 100% going to be a re-purchase of mine! (: It is a good quality product as well. You could get away with just one coat of the nail varnish, which leaves a quite sheer colour on the nails, or you can use two coats to get an affect similar to the picture!

I hope you are all well. Thanks for reading. Don't forget to 'follow'.

St Moritz Instant Self Tanning Mousse - Rave!

So this is a rave about St Moritz Instant Self Tanning Mousse for you. It is without a doubt my go-to, favourite fake tan simply because of it easy application & its good colour pay off.
I always use the original mousse version but you can also get it in a lotion, a spray mist and a darker colour. I prefer to use the mousse simply because all the spray products i have used before tend to go all over surrounding areas such as furniture and walls and lotions are too thick and heavy for my liking.

I tend not to sit out in the sun very often as I am very moley and also burn very quickly :/ which means i don't have much colour to my complexion. However when summer time comes i like to show a bit more skin and also on nights out. This is when St Moritz comes in handy.

Before I used this product I used to use the tanning moisturisers because I could never apply fake tan without it turning out streaky and odd looking. With St Moritz I don't have this problem!

My initial thoughts are that the packaging is very clean looking because as you can see from the picture is it just plain white with brown and black writing. The packaging is also not overloaded with writing, there is just a few important things that you need to know.
It claims that:
- Its longer lasting
- Instant bronzing
- Fast drying
- No streaks.
- A professional flawless tan, easy, no mess application.

The back of the bottle suggests that you exfoliate all over and apply a moisturiser  to the dry areas of the body (ie. knees, elbows, hands, ankles, feet). Next it says to apply the mousse by rubbing it gently and evenly into the skin, allowing it to absorb. It is important to leave it for at least 4-6 hours before showering.

Personal experience...
The exfoliator that I use is the Coconut Lime one from H&M, I also use a pair of exfoliation gloves just to help remove that dead skin a little bit easier. The moisturiser that I use is the FCUK polished - Whipped bodycream.

To apply the tan I use a tan mitt which can be brought for around £1-3. Its not essential to apply it with a mitt however i feel that this is the least messy way as applying it directly from your hands can leave the palms orange even after washing them. The mousse is dispensed from the bottle through a pump and when it is applied to the mitt it looks like a very scary, messy, dark brown foam. Way to dark for my skin, don't let that put you off!

It is important to work quickly as the mousse does dry very fast. As it is instant and a very dark brown you can see exactly where you have applied it and bits you have missed. This is great for beginners or people that just cannot seem to apply fake tan streak free. There is definitely a scent to the tan, it smells very clean and soap like. Once it is dry that smell changes slightly but it is not a strong and off putting smell like some fake tans seem to have.

I always apply my tan about an hour before bed and let it develop overnight. As it claims, it does dry very quickly which is great if you've got things to get on with after applying the tan. When I wake up i am always left with a non streaky flawless looking tan. Its a very natural colour and lasts for quite a while.

St Moritz does exactly what it says on the bottle and for £2.99 for 200ml you cant go wrong. 1 bottle of this lasts me about 6weeks-2months. I apply it once every week and use a tinted moisturiser between applications.

All in all I am very impressed with this product and would recommend it to anyone!

Thanks for reading, hope you are all well. L x

Fingernails & Toenails of The Day.

Hello everyone;

I just thought I would share with you my nails that I did today which I am totally in LOVE with! They look amazing and I've had so many people compliment them!

So these are the fingernails:

& These are the toenails:

As you can probably tell both sets are themed on Leopard print which I love.

For the toes I used a gold as a base coat, rusty orange & a black cherry colour for the spots and believe it or not I used a black marker pen for the black outline of the spots.

For the fingernails I used a light pink as a base coat - which I made myself using a white & a dark pink polish -, lilac & baby blue as spots and again I used the black marker pen as the outline for the spots.

Afterwards I used a topcoat on both my fingers and toes & also applied a bit of glitter to the spots on my fingernails.

Ta da, its as easy as that. (Its a lot easier than it might look)

Hope you like the nails. If you would like a video on them then please let me know!

Take care guys & enjoy your day. L x
